Campus Food Centre

OUR MISSION

The Campus Food Centre exists to reduce hunger on campus by providing quality, accessible food items for students. The Centre also aims to educate the campus community on food and hunger-related issues.

DROP-IN PROGRAM

Students can access the Campus Food Centre during the weekdays, at their convenience, to select the food items they need. Students are able to access perishable and non-perishable items, toiletries, and information.

HAMPER PROGRAM

Students affiliated with the Campus Food Centre are able to request a hamper of items to be left in an anonymous locker if they cannot pick-up their items during the regular hours of operation. Note: Not all items are available for the Hamper Program.

RESOURCES

Students can receive a variety of informational resources on food and hunger-related issues such as: the National Hunger Count, community food banks, soup kitchens, etc.

VOLUNTEER

Students can volunteer with the Campus Food Centre in many ways, such as: helping to administer the Drop-in and Hamper Programs, helping maintain our vegetable garden, or assisting with food drives and awareness events.
