Remembrance Day

They are our friends, our family, our neighbours. They are the men and women of our Canadian Armed Forces and, on November 11, we remember them. They give their lives for our country. Let’s honour them together.

Every November 11, we honour those who have served, and continue to serve, for our Canadian Armed Forces in times of war and times of peace.

We remember the brave and the selfless who gave their lives for our country. We remember Corporal Nathan Cirillo and Warrant Officer Patrice Vincent, two men whose lives were lost right here on Canadian soil simply for being members of our military.

Join us this year as we stand together to remember Cpl. Cirillo, WO Vincent and the hundreds of thousands of men and women in the Canadian Armed Force that we have lost.

We invite those in our community who have served in the military to share their experience at our Remembrance Day Ceremony. If you would like to speak, please contact Rick Doucet, SA Campus Life Coordinator, at SACampusLife@dc-uoit.ca by 5PM on Nov. 5.
