Pangaea

A CULTURAL SHOWCASE OF FOOD, MUSIC, DANCE, AND THEATRE

Pangaea has been a Durham College and UOIT campus tradition since 2005. Every year in winter semester the SA collaborates with Campus Clubs and students to hold PANGAEA, a showcase of cultural foods and performances from around the world. PANGAEA is open to all students and staff and completely free.

Pangaea was the original supercontinent that eventually broke apart into the different continents that we have today. This event is called Pangaea to call back that sense of togetherness.

Pangaea is a cultural show organized to celebrate the diversity of cultures on our campus by enjoying incredible and fun performances together as a community.

Before the live performances begin, you can collect a 'passport' and go around to various booths to get a taste of the world by sampling food items from eight different regions. Then grab a seat and get ready for performances such as singing, dancing, and modeling cultural attire put on by different cultural groups.
