Since 1995, the Student Centre at Durham College/UOIT has been a leader in enhancing student life on campus through programming and services. Over the years, the building has housed many concerts, pub nights, children’s carnivals and much more! Just recently celebrating its 10th anniversary on campus, the Student Centre continues to focus on – “Customer Service, Diversity and the Future!” The Student Centre houses Your SA offices, management offices, the Tuck Shop, The Artist Den “Campus Print Studio” and E.P. Taylor’s Pub. Come visit the lounge, grab a bite to eat, or check out our big screen TVs. There is something for everyone at the Student Centre!

With the support of Your SA, the Student Centre is pleased to announce the grand opening of its very own food service operation. For many years, our students have wanted a food service outlet at the Student Centre that adds value to their on-campus experience. The new food service operation will provide environmentally friendly packaging for a greener future and expanded hours to suit the needs of all students and staff. This new service will officially open in August 2007 and will continue the E.P. Taylor’s tradition of value added pricing and exceptional customer service.

The Tuck Shop sells used text books, snacks, clothing, SA event tickets, and bus passes (both DRT and GO Transit). In addition to being a regular convenience store, the Tuck Shop is a hub for information. All Intramural registrations and club event tickets can be found at the Tuck Shop. The Tuck Shop also offers free X Box and Play Station 2 rentals.

The main focus of the Student Centre is to provide and enhance the campus experience.
