UOAA Hosts FREE Tax Clinic…

It’s that time of year again! The UOIT Accounting Association, a sub-group of the Business and IT Society, is hosting a free tax clinic for students. Stop by the clinic to have your tax return filed by a Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) trained volunteer.

The clinic is being held Wednesday and Thursday evenings from March 21 to March 29 at the North Oshawa Campus in room UB3028. The Wednesday session runs from 4:00pm to 7:00pm and the Thursday session runs from 7:00pm to 9:30pm.

Students should bring all supporting documentation including, T4 slips, T2202A (tuition), rent receipts, qualified transportation receipts, etc. Students must also bring a valid student ID card. Note – volunteers can only complete returns for non-complex tax situations.
