CAMPUS FOOD CENTRE

In an ideal world students shouldn’t have to choose between buying books or groceries. But in reality, students are faced with this decision everyday. Your campus food service is here to help make that decision easier.

The Campus Food Centre is committed to putting food on hungry student’s plates so that in return, students are able to put their best foot forward in their academic pursuits. It is a confidential and respectful service that is dedicated to making food items and toiletries available to all students on campus.

It is Free, discreet and extremely accessible for students. Appointments are not needed, students can drop-in and the only identification required is a student number. Students may also opt to fill out an e-mail request form to receive a food hamper that can be picked up at the food centre or placed in an unmarked locker on campus.

With the increase of tuition over the years and the unexpected costs of living, it is not a surprise that many students may be struggling to cover all the costs associated with living away from home. Let the Campus Food Centre help, if you or someone you know is in need of food items or toiletries get in contact with your Campus Food Centre, located in the Service Centre, or e-mail your Women’s Resource Centre Coordinator at SAwomenscentre@dc-uoit.ca, phone number 905-721-2000 ext. 3676.
